Its time for a redesign of the Unitary navy's vessels since the old one looked kinda bad in my eyes.

The Unitary Navy is one of the main and arguably most important branch of the Unitary military. Its massive and powerful warships prowl the stars in their eternal mission of servitude for the Unitary Republic. Considered the largest and most powerful navy force within in the galaxy, the Unitary Navy is an symbol the empire's might and strength. As with any navy, the Unitary Navy is tasked with the jurisdiction of protecting Unitary shipping lanes and border patrol, transporting Unitary Army forces, as well with stellar warfare with the numerous enemies of the Unitary republic, whether they be the Felion Varksist Union, extra dimensional invaders, rouge AIs, minor alien empires or traitorous rebels. A common trait of most Unitary Navy vessels is their large and heavily armored prows and golden eagle figureheads which can be used to ram enemy vessels with under dire circumstances.

-Hydra Class Battleship: Among the largest and oldest vessels in the Unitary Navy. The Hydra Battleship's design dates back for several millennia, possibly as old as the Republic herself. As such, its design is much more ornamented, decorated and extravagant compared to its younger brethren despite frequent updates to the ship's blueprints. Armed with a massive array of devastating weaponry and numerous squadrons of fighter craft, the Hydra is a beast in stellar warfare being able to slug it out against multiple warships at once. However these ships are incredibly expensive and difficult to construct and maintain, encouraging Unitary Navy commanders to deploy and use these ships with extreme care and caution.

-Manticore Class Supercarrier: A newer class of supercarriers constructed for the purpose of transporting cargo and smaller starships into combat, the Manticore Class Supercarrier can deploy dozens upon dozens of fighters and bombers into the battle along with Newts as well. The Manticore can also ferry entire regiments worth of Unitary army forces from planet to planet, capable of deploying its cargo from the large transport ships docked with the carrier onto the planet below. While the Manticore is underarmed when compared to other ships of its size, the carrier is still capable of protecting itself from enemy vessels even without fighter support.

-Wyvern Class Cruiser: The backbone of most sizable Unitary Navy fleets, the Wyvern Class Cruiser is a very capable warship, armed with quad rows of broadside cannon batteries, numerous grand beamer and plasma turrets as well as a massive forward energy cannon powerful enough to decimate or outright destroy enemy ships in one shot. Wyverns are often the center piece of Unitary fleets, serving as the flagship of a fleet's admiral.

-Alpyhn Class Frigate: An all around decent warship by Unitary standards, the Alphyn is fairly well armed for a ship of its size and class, with several large energy turrets and broadside batteries. Like the Wyvern, the Alpyhn also carries a few squads of starfighters into combat. A typical Unitary fleet could contain two or more Alpyhn frigates depending on the fleet's role and destination.

-Pegasus Class Freighter: Unlike most stellar cargo vessels utilized by civilians, the Pegasus Freighter was specifically designed for use by the Unitary Navy which is reflected by the ship's heavier armaments, stronger hull and fusion drive. Despite these advantages however, they still require escorts to safely transport their cargo across the stars.

-Styx Class Tanker: Essentially a stellar fuel tanker class utilized primarily by the Unitary Navy as a support and logistics vessel. Even with its minimal armament and fragile hull, the ship can still be useful in combat as a fireship or in Leyland's terms a giant mobile bomb.

-Basilisk Class Destroyer: Aside from being the most common destroyer class within the Unitary Navy, the Basilisk Class Destroyer also quite well armed with its armament of several sizes of grand beamer and plasma turrets and a row of broadside batteries. Unlike most other of Unitary ships, the Basilisk along with most other destroyer classes possess long range torpedo missiles capable of severely crippling ships larger than it. Can be found often in the role of an escort for other vessels.

-Cyclops Class Sensor ship: A unique variant of the Lampago, the Cyclops is a large radar vessel constantly scanning the void around it for ship activity, transmissions, and other unusual activity in deep space. Once an unusual or enemy fleet has been detected, the vessel will begin to transmit data to the nearest allied fleet. Cyclops also serve the purpose of a relay station and can easily pick up and transmit any messages from friendly forces to other allies. Due to their nature, Cyclops are poorly armed and often travel under the protection of escort ships.

-Lampago Class Destroyer: A smaller class of destroyer operated by the Unitary Navy. It packs a rather hefty punch despite its small size thanks to its impressive heavy grand beamer cannons and torpedo missiles. Often deployed in groups of two or more for the tasks of border patrol or escorting more valued vessels.

-Harpy Class Corvette: Built to escort larger vessels against starfighters and other small threats, the Harpy Class Corvette is an all around decent ship for its size and role. Its light grand beamer cannons can even damage the hulls of much larger ships if the opportunity presents itself. Harpies are also often seen patrolling regions of Unitary space in small packs of 3 and conducting routine customs enforcement and protecting shipping lanes.

-Apollon Class Carrier: A small carrier class constructed with the purpose of rapid deployment of troops or starfighters in mind. Apollons are notably armed with only a handful micro grand beamer turrets ment to deter enemy starfighters and light vessels thus requiring escort by other warships. Can carry around 5-6 squadrons of starfighters into battle.

-Newt Class Picket: The smallest ship utilized to any meaningful effect by the Unitary Navy aside from small shuttles and starfighters. Newts are primarily used as a small screening vessel and it shows in their armament which is primarily dedicated in combating starfighters or other similar sized ships. Newts are weakly armored and shielded yet are far more maneuverable and nimble compared to their larger brethren. Often found in packs patrolling remote forgotten regions of Unitary space or accompanying larger vessels.
