I would appreciate it if you stop saying that. It is personally insulting to me, as obviously I have already taken an interest in you and think that you are worth spending the money on. I will message the artist on discord and tell her to send you the Dragon, you should be receiving that by the end of the day as she is sleeping currently.
That is fine, but as a behavioral psych student and somebody that has very high self-worth, I never make a decision without considering all probable outcomes. I do not do things for no reason, and I understand that a lot of people, especially right now are struggling to make the income they'd like to not just keep themselves alive, but also keep themselves happy. I personally cannot stand dragons, but I love the artist as a friend, so this drawing would be a waste on me as I'd probably just resell or give them away later on down the line.
If you need a more concrete reason for why I am doing what I am doing, it is because I want to see you do something with this character that I would not be able to. I looked over your profile and it looks like you do a lot with reptiles/dragons so I have high hopes that you will be able to treat this character with the love that they deserve. Do not feel like you owe me anything, if I wanted some gain I would buy the character and sell it somewhere else. I am simply doing this because I want to make your day, and I hope that you can enjoy them with the same passion that I am putting into you.

That's understandable, dragons as majestic as they can be, just aren't for everyone. But yes, I do have quite the liking for Dragons among creatures, (likely started from my childhood days of collecting yugioh cards and dragons seemed to always be the stronger ones) and this dear derg will have a full rendered commission with my other dragon 'Moon', when I eventually can get the money for that. So that'll be a thing to have my hopes up for!
If you wanted to make my day, you just missed midnight, but you have made my tomorrow certainly! Humour aside, thank you so very much!

You are welcome. I can definitely understand having a love for a specific species based on actions taken in your childhood. I have never really thought into why I like what I like when it comes to being a furry specifically, but it is definitely something that I should look into. If you have not already selected the artist for that commission I have got a few friends that I can send you which I would be more than happy to cover the fee for as well.
I can appreciate the generosity, but I feel that such a commission is something I should save up towards, as a sort of goal or milestone.
I haven't contacted my usual artist yet, since I think she's closed commissions atm. I do remember her telling me about doing that in April, but commissions were still in the queue. She might have just decided to close commissions the next month and simply not said, but that's neither here, nor there.
