The Starship Whackadoodle - a Sci-fi snicker
Sometimes you just have to do things like make bad puns and learn how to cut the cheese without lifting a butt cheek.
Nooooooo... that has nothing to do with the story, I just had to... *OUCH! Who threw that tomato?
*runs off under a hail of rotten vegetables...

WACKADOODLE INN in Space... in this episode we find miss Vicki wishing to choke the life out of a cat... with a beer bottle... Beware of the fine print...
That was a very fun read my dear friend... some of the references the younger generations will not get. Oh well they'll get over it. Being a very graymuzzle has it's advantages

*Wirewolf wanders the empty rooms of the Inn, finally spotting Duroc on the front porch*
"Where is everyone?"
"You heard 'em. They're off having an 'adventure.'
"They actually left? I thought they was just funnin'."
"Eh. They'll most likely be back before supper."
I wouldn't have believed you could smoosh those two genres into a single story, but you have done it beautifully. Well done.

Vixyy, you're bordering on "certifiable." Mr. Peabody is on the fence but Sherman agrees. I have yet to hear from Bullwinkle and Rocky but Boris and Snidely are leaning that direction also. I haven't heard from the rest of the team but I feel that Dudley, Natasha and Nell are in your camp.
Sincerely,
Capt. Peter Peachfuzz

*laughs so hard... I grew up with all of those folks Mr. Khat, and I will always love them. Boris and Natasha were just so very cool... and then I just could never understand why it went from Rocky and Bullwinkle to the Bullwinkle Show - but nothing changed.
thanks so very much...

Space, the final frontier...
These are the voyages of the Starship Whackadoodle, its five page mission - to get a certain cat to put the bottle down long enough to get everyone back home.
Excellent intro (I could honestly listen to Vixyy and Buns ranting (and occasionally verbally sparring) for hours), this time traveller is quite an interesting character - certainly less careful than the usual Saint Germain types - and his hobby of wine-tasting made for some good character moments.
I loved how each of the Whackadoodle regulars each got a moment to shine, no matter how brief. Special mention goes to Bering, who's perspective may almost be a story in of itself.
P.S. Despite being born well after its release and never having watched it, I was actually aware of Barbarella growing up, I think it was through a television program back in the day that chronicled the most iconic female characters in media.
This was around the early 2000s (or 'early naughties' if you like double entendres. *Smirks*)
