jc was helping out some of her artist friends in Taiwan by proxying some commission requests for them. I guess they were kind of needing some work and exposure, and they don't know English as well as she does. So how nice of her to pimp them out, and do all the work of coordinating responses and handling payments and such! Very cool. :) So I jumped on it. Plus, omg, cool art from the other side of the planet, yo! Universal language, yo.

I posted a sketch of this one before, that had "Rooth" on the front of it. Via jc, I asked to have the English name replaced with the Chinese characters for "Rooth kangaroo" (Ru Si Dai Shu, or 入斯怠鼠) - far too long to spell out on a badge in English, but it looks AWESOME in Chinese, doesn't it? And so does Rooth'roo! He looks so happy and ready to play, just like always. I this design work, look at that background! Ima gonna get this puppy laminated and hang 'im on my wall of win, right next to the Rooth'ragon one. :)

PS - B.Cat is taking commissions for these right now, with jc as proxy: $7 gets you your very own!! And quick, too! omg, you totally can't go wrong.
