Cause large amounts of pain to the moogle to... make him learn his place? Well, there is no good reason, but violence is always fun XP. Seriously tho, I suggest accepting him into the party, worst case scenario he's a meat shield. I also suggest someone cuts up the moogle's shirt and turns it into a makeshift leash XP.
Regardless, I think the party should take a rest after this and give the HORRIBLE SLIME MONSTER some time to digest or time to find out he doesn't digest and they need to spit him back up. Afterall, those huge guts are kinda give-aways. At minimum, they will decrease dexterity and reflexes!
