A semi-independent Uni project where the main goal was to introduce smth colorful and childishly joyful and in a way curious to a boring place.
This huge marker board (2x2.5 meters) was just yet another blank plane white board on the blank white wall. To add to all this boringness, this board also was placed in the dullest room my University had - the seminar room. This project pushed me quite a bit as my action plan was consisting of drawing for 6 hours straight once a day for 3 days. My hand hurt a ton, my spine was pressured the whole time and I LOVED IT! This kind of struggle is the best thing because it pays off oh and did it pay of haha. I absolutely love the result, same with my tutors too.
I explored where Art can be placed besides museums and how simple the tools you use to create smth complex and fancy (I used the markers I found nearby, nothing else) can be.
It is also important to mention that this project is also about how nothing is eternal and will come to an end someday. This work you are seeing in this upload is actually erased. The whole thing went through several different versions before becoming this complex and each and every single one was destroyed by the Uni's janitor hours after being finished. You are living in the now, make it worth your time so your memories of this present in your future will motivate you to keep moving only forward. Memories like the memory of this work now preserved in a form of a photograph.
