Heavy Knights of Boft (and an archer) (Wayfarer)
These are a doodle I have for the Knights of the ancient town of Boft. They're really heavily armored on the shield side, but lightly armored on the sword arm, making it easier to swing the heavy blade with one hand, and the inches thick armor makes penetration.. unlikely.
They're religious zealots for their goddess, and tend to rush into things without fully considering other options.
The archers typically ride on horseback, and have one heavily armored shoulder - on the side they hold the bow with. The other arm is equipped with a thick leather glove to relieve pressure on the fingers drawing the 100 lb draw bow back.

I like the sword, its very boxy in design, though I would think swinging with the other side might do a bit more damage with the weight of the other side trailing behind. Then again I have no idea sword mechanics anyways when it comes to shapes. I guess square would do a good job of cleaving / breaking of bones on hits. It would also be good for catching a sword thats coming at you.
