I'm going to fish for dreams today
Before the night's hair turns grey
All you need to fish for dreams
Is a fishing pole while the moonlight gleams
But should nightmares sneak up on me
And tell me of my dreams to free
I’ll do what they say before first light
For surely with them I’d lose a fight!
Before the night's hair turns grey
All you need to fish for dreams
Is a fishing pole while the moonlight gleams
But should nightmares sneak up on me
And tell me of my dreams to free
I’ll do what they say before first light
For surely with them I’d lose a fight!

I find it interesting that throughout the poem you use no punctuation, until the last word. Is there a reason for the one mark at the end? Most readers, when they do read poetry, the seem to like consistency when it comes to punctuation. And publication companies love consistency (I know from experience, LOL). It's an interesting idea, fishing for dreams. If only fishing for them were easy =D.
