This piece was inspired by a conversation my best friend and I had last Monday night and how he unironically hugged his bag of coffee beans. This extended into an idea about one of Mateo's quirks; he hugs his bag of coffee beans as a sign of love and respect for the farmers and workers that picked the beans that would be turned into drinks that his patrons and many more would enjoy and start their days off. I decided to make it canon into a piece showing him doing that. Always remember that everything you eat and drink was labored by many people around the world. As you enjoy them, thank them for their service and hope they are being treated well for their efforts!
