This is concept art for a fanfic/detective visual novel that I was working on throughout the months of January and February, but have since dropped. I've held onto this piece of art for a fair bit, and am posting it now to see if it'll garner any attention. I'm still iffy on if I want to continue pursuing this project or not.

Lucky Clover may be a simple assistant to the mayor of Ponyville, but she holds a deep love of Equestria and the ponies who reside within it. And she especially holds a deep gratitude and admiration for the Princess. Although the thing is... Lucky has never seen Princess Celestia in person before.
Today happens to be her lucky day. After a mishap in the mail, she scored herself a ticket to the Summer Sun Celebration held at Canterlot Castle this year!
However, perhaps this turn of events aren't as fortunate as they first seem. Between the disapperance of Princess Celestia, the return of Nightmare Moon, and being trapped inside a creepily empty Canterlot Castle with fifteen other ponies (plus a rabbit), her lucky day will soon spiral down into her worst nightmare.

The main reason I've stopped working on this project is because I don't have the confidence in myself to write it with the goal of finishing it. At least not yet, maybe, I'm not sure. I've never done anything like this before. I'm aware practice makes perfect, but practice is also time consuming.

I'm confident in making art though, so I can provide that at least. :P
