Ouch!!!
There we hit rock bottom.
The day when Blue met Mason it was pretty hectic.
Nothing made sense.
Mason was in terrible shape.

to make it short

While hiking in the forest Blue injured his arm and knee.
He decided to follow a river so that he could clean up his scratches.
He came across a lake with a central island. By wanting to immerse his arm in the water of the lake.
He was surprised by an attack from Mason who was standing in ambush.
Despite his condition, Mason remains extremely dangerous and wary of potential enemies.

However his somewhat abrupt first contact,
Blue was rather intrigued by what was in front of him.
"How did a guy like him get there?"

Blue quickly took stock of the Mason's state....
Multiple burn damage all over the upper part of his body.
Multiple inflammations.
Open wound at his neck and his leg,
and seven gunshot wounds including one headshot (according to Mason the bullet would have ricocheted )
It's decided…

Blue wanted to take care of his new companion.
Even if Mason was resent at the start, he had to let it go.
Blue found large burdock leaves and aloe vera nearby.

While searching his bag he also found suture bandages.
He used them to try to close the wound on Mason's leg… without much success.
then, Blue took the time to cover the burnt parts of Mason's body as well as possible with the leaves. but he had difficulty with his hands

after more than 4 hours of work he finished.
Night begins to fall and Blue had to go home
Blue asked Mason to stay alive and that he would come back the next day with some medical supplies and food.
Mason fell asleep immediately after Blue left,
while the little boy was only thinking about one thing,
may the night pass quickly

A drawing quite difficult to make ...
A lot of small delicate details to represent.
But I am quite satisfied with the result.
I tried to transcribe his pain as best I could.

I will undoubtedly explain later this episode of the life of Blue and Mason.
It's THE starting point of their adventure !
