-Philomena is Tiberius' mate, and obviously the Penelope of the story. A loyal wife and doting mother, she always holds onto hope during tough times, never losing faith in her husband when he's away at war. She just doesn't take shit from anybody, and she shares her husband's courage and intelligence when trying to fend Adrian off herself and her children.

-Leonidas is Tiberius' fearless and pugnacious son. He just rushes in and fights at any signs of danger.

-Artemis is pretty much the polar opposite of his brother. The most timid and introverted of Tiberius' three kids, but he's still willing to take risks and help his family.

-Athena is the meat in the middle of her two siblings. As the wisest and most mature one, she settles things with reason instead of emotion, and perfectly balances out Leonidas' bravery and Artemis' reservedness. All three of them have the role of Odysseus' son, Telemachus.

-Eustace obviously isn't part of the family but I just wanted to include him here anyway. Eustace is a homing pigeon who delivers messages during the war, and has a great respect for Tiberius and his family. After all, he's the one who finally helped lead Tiberius back home, which is a reference to Eurycleia from the original story who recognizes Odysseus by the scar on his foot. He's just a wholesome funky lil birb doing his job.
