Retal - Retal is the most populous landmass in the entire world, consisting of the countries of Everton, Fel’tari, and The Kingdom of Beasts. It also contains the infamous Deadlands. It has quite a temperate climate, with rolling grasslands and hills along with forests spread around, with a few jungles to the North near the equator. Located in the eastern hemisphere, stretching from Fel’tair in the southern hemisphere to The Kingdom of Beasts near the equator.Country
Fel’tari - Homeland of the Elves and of the largest magical tree in the world, the Mana Tree. Fel’tari is an extremely magic rich area filled with forests and swamps, always ready to defend against The Rift Walker’s undead legions.Cities
Fel’tari - The home of all Elves, they have inhabited the areas surrounding the Mana Tree for all of their recorded history. Or at least the history known by the rest of the world, the Elves of Fel’tari are quite secretive with the knowledge they possess, unwilling to share what they know with the other races. The city itself is surrounded by intricately designed walls, and the ground inside covered in marble, aside from the garden that keeps the Mana Tree. Surrounding their land are floating islands and hills, the islands kept in place from the pure magical output of the Mana Tree.
The Fertile Valley - A land nestled in a valley below The Unknown Swamp, The Fertile valley is inhabited by humans who work the lands that are fed by waters of the swamp and the magic of the Mana Tree. They trade their plentiful crops with the nearby Elven city of Fel’tari and those who remain in the Forgotten Coast.
Lisha - While not as impressive as it once was, the maze of ruins and rubble spread throughout the Forgotten Coast was once the city of Lisha. Lisha, before its fall, was much as the city of Everton is now. Once a prosperous trading hub and one of the most populous Human cities, Lisha was left to defend itself against the undead fleets sent from the Forbidden Cove. Unable to hold out on its own against the endless waves, many fled the city of Lisha and the undead left it a desolate wasteland. Today, people still live in the city of Lisha, but are few and far between. None there remember the glory of Lisha.Notable Locations
The Mana Tree - Largest of all the magic trees in the world, the Elves have taken care of the tree for centuries, building their city of Fel’tari around it in order to be it’s protectors.
The Border Forest - Between the lands of Fel’tari and the legions of undead sent through The Undead Gate, lays a forest imbued with the magic from the Mana Tree. Dryads and Treants are known to roam and protect the forest, and serve as the first line of defense against the undead.
The Forgotten Coast - When the city of Lisha was left to its fate at the hands of the undead hordes, the entire coast it had been settled on was turned into a mostly barren wasteland tainted with undeath.
The Unknown Swamp - The swamps that border the north of The Fertile Valley are just as magical as The Border Forest, but the inhabitants of it are not nearly as kind. The Dryads and Treants of The Unknown Swamp have been driven mad by the taint of undeath that constantly seeps in from The Forgotten Coast, and are known to lash out in uncontrollable anger to those who wander in.
