Hmmm... So unlike wood to concentrate magical energies, is this in its metal state supposed to focus energies not of your own like Chaos? Just making a guess.

Hm? Well, the bronze length is supposed to channel and conduct the littlest of energy vibrations. The curled metallics around the end (gold and silver) act almost like a copper coil in a generator. Energy is amplified and gathered in the crystal tip, and with the right command string the prism at the top bends the focused energy into a different form. :3
