Just to give an idea of how big some of these trees can be, a bit further up the trail there was another tree with a "Chimney" burnt into it that My brother Sterling snapped an image of me next to the burnt scar on the tree, just to give the scene a sense of scale. (That's me with the whiskers.) I figure something like this would make a perfect entryway into an underground Foxtaur city.

I've seen a few images of these grand trees here and there on the net, but yours is perhaps the best way to convey the sheer size of these. The notable image of a car driving *through* a giant tree is rather iconic for sure, but this being one of the younger, smaller trees, you *still* couldn't call them small by any means. Really wonderful stuff.
On a different note: Glad to see you have recovered from your car incident!

Giant Sequoia, King's Canyon National Park, central California. Beautiful park. Spent my summers growing up there.
Sequoia trees have very wide, shallow root systems rather than a deep taproot, so yes, I could potentially see that leading underground in the proper situations. I wouldn't, but if the Foxtaurs didn't know the impact of the eventual topple of the tree, they might.
