The quality isn't that great but I liked this one too much not to post it

I don't know the story of this place but I can come up with a few things, maybe the plant maybe everything there was contaminated. Like when the original Johns Manville plant shut down, most of the equipment and stuff was destroyed because of contamination and how they brain washed everyone to fear asbestos. If I remember it right, a company that makes brass pipe fittings also closed a plant because it was an older plant that used lead in the past and they couldn't take anything with them because of the severe lead contamination.
Stockpiling, maybe if they had future ambitions of reopening, minus well will leave everything then.

When the company I work for bought one of our competitors out, and we bum rushed their factory to gut what was usuable before closing them down, We were left with a lot of stuff even they didnt use anymore, but had stockpiles of it all over. Discontinued stuff or things they no longer made or supported, and its resale value was less than even trying to sell it. So we left it for the building owners to decide what to do with it. THe building has been empty a year since our takeover, so its prolly still sitting there. I suspect this is pretty much what happened here.
We had several divisions. We did high end office furniture for like boardroom conference tables, more general office furniture, and had a Dispatch division where we made high tech console furniture for things like 911 call centers. I mostly worked with the latter division as an installation tech. So I followed our consoles around the world to make sure they were assembled correctly For a period of over 3 years I was traveling so much I know I spent more time in airport lounges than I did at home. I miss that job.
