Indeed they can! A couple weeks ago I saved a bee from the outdoor-cats water-dish and at first it seemed rather unwell, blindly walking forward, so I worried it might be sick or a zom-bee.
But as it dried off, and got a bit more oxygen in, it it began to recover, cleaning itself of the water clinging to its fuzz. I spent a good 20 minutes watching that little bee groom itself before it flew away. Was fun!
