What's worse than being the universally hated bastard cub of Scar? Being one of many such universally hated bastard cubs!

Yes, within the pride (and outside of it too) lived quite a number of Shayena's half-brothers and half-sisters. Mostly older, but if anyone here thought that Scar's fling with Pira was the last one in his womanizing career, they were greatly mistaken. Soon after Shayena came little Mheetu, the son of Sarafina and Nala's little brother, but even he was far from being Scar's last progeny. However, at the point where our story is currently at, there were six such cubs including Shayena. Some of them were no longer cubs but teenagers and young adults, though. The fates were not kind to any of them. For example, Blackmore, the eldest of them all, was one of Scar's most loyal supporters and remained in the pride until his death at the kingdom's borders, where he died bravely fighting off some loners. He was survived by his twin sons. Another one, Mort, left his homeland upon reaching adulthood and also died. He fell in a horrendous fire near the borders of the Pride Lands trying to get his mate and their newborn cubs out of the flames.

Malice survived a bit longer and gave life to a fair number of cubs but was unable to make it through the prolonged drought and the epidemic of some mysterious, deadly disease that raged through the kingdom at that time. Blue-eyed Shista, who was the same age as Shayena, appeared in her life for a very short time. A lone cub, trying to find out the truth about her ancestry. What she learned was not to her liking, as she disappeared soon after her first meeting with Shayena.

In fact, out of the whole motley crowd of Scar's aforementioned bastards (as well as those who came after), only Shayena and Mheetu remained. Ironically, those two managed to maintain some semblance of a friendly relationship even if it never turned into a full-fledged friendship. It might be due to their age difference or because Mheetu has always been enveloped in the affections of his mother and the other lionesses, who respected Sarafina too much to scorn her for her relationship with Scar... While Shaye remained as she was: your local underdog orphan that no one wanted and that would only irritate everyone with her roguish behavior.
