Bill Buckston: "Now two weeks ago at the Black Deer Ring in Austria, Fabian Hirscher gained enough points on his super licence for a race ban. This means the German will not be taking part here this weekend at Silverstone but it does mean another indervidual will get the optunity to take his place at Velocity Team Racing. The lucky indervidual was, quite apt for seeing as we are racing in the United Kingdom this weekened, is the current UK Furmula 4 championship leader Stripez Honeysuckle. We caught up with him earlier today on his Fumula 3 debut..."

Bill Buckston: "Last round before the summer break but the first round for you; you're half way through the UK F4 championship with a comfortable lead. Talk us through what it was like when you got the call?"

Stripez Honeysuckle: "Awe it waz amazing! We had juzt ztarted our zummer break after Oulton Park and about a week after I got a call from my manager zaying that I might be getting a chancze to racze in Fumula three! Of courze I had to keep it to myzelf and not get my hopez up, but a few dayz later I had to zign a couple of contractz and now here I am!"

Bill Buckston: "Now the team you will be driving for hasn't scored any points this season, do you think this elivates any of the presure stepping into the car for the first time or do you still feel nervious making your debut in world motorsport; previously only having racing at the regional level?"

Stripez Honeysuckle: "Well the carz are zuppozt to be equal zo I don't think it matterz if the team hazn't zcored already. I don't feel there iz any prezzure on me thiz weekend, but I don't want to mezz thiz oppotunity up as a good racze this weekend might mean I get a zeat next year. A bad racze might put off any teams from zigning me. Either way I don't care what people expect, I juzt want to racze and finizh az high up the order az pozzible!

Bill Buckston: "Do you think pointz are on the board?"

Stripez Honeysuckle: "I think a win iz on the board! Haha! No, zeriouzly I think that pointz would be the goal az I haven't even zeen the car I will be driving tomorrow, let alone drive it; I've got my zeat fitting juzt after thiz interview! Zo yeah... I'm brand new to theze carz when everyone elze around me haz had... 10 or 12 raczez now?... but I will give it my all and hopefully I can bag the team it'z firzt points."

Bill Buckston: "If you get those points do you think the team will consider keeping you on for the rest of the season?"

Stripez Honeysuckle: "Maybe if I end up on the podium!" *He chuckles* "No, I doubt it. I'm only here for thiz weekend and then I'm back finizhing off the Furmula 4 championzhip, or at leazt that'z what I zigned in my contract. I'm going to make the mozt of it and have zome fun whilzt trying to keep the zeat warm and the car intact for when Fabian returnz."
