One thing though, if this is supposed to be Shantae's original look, she is missing the "floaties" around her upper arms

Though they are the one part of her outfit I miss the most. They just added that little extra genie flair, y'know?

I'm on the fence on getting it, as I already have it on the 3DS... I was kinda half-hoping it was gonna be either an HD remake or it was secretly there as an unlockable or something

You can play it like it's on GBA on the Switch, that unlocks something.

I know, a bonus transformation that's exclusive to it, but I'm not sure if that experience alone is worth the $10 when I already have the base GBC game on the 3DS... and there's a secret code you can put in to get that exclusive transformation too apparently without needing a GBA

I understand I have it on 3DS too i just like supporting games when i can. As for what this version has, it has the GBA version, which i guess is just a brighter color pallet and the new transformation. It has saves states, filters to change the image a little nothing to fancy and it has gallery showing off old Shantae concept art and stuff

that might not be enough to warrant buying it again for you and thats ok i just wanted to let you know

oh I know the feeling, though I think I remembered there's like a secret code to input to unlock that special transformation even without playing it in GBA mode.

but I'll think about it, maybe if it's on sale or something. Again, I was sorta hoping for an HD remake and maybe simplifying the transformation method instead of memorizing each dance pattern

The entire series is now on one system and I am super glad of it. No longer do we need to shell out 200 eBay bucks for the OG game.
