Here's Baratus's mother named Barbara.
Despite her beauty and calm nature, she's also strict (but also fair - well, it's hard to be someone's teacher) and (if necessary) strong enough to throw down someone who insults her or threats her. (hence the medium muscularity)

In her past before she met Brutulius, she was one of Wise Women of Cronos.
She became his wife before Zedek's betrayal. As the mother of young Baratus - she became her teacher and menthor.
After her husband's loss, she has began to accept Baratus's dream of becoming the greatest warrior in the Legion and salvaging his Fatherland from the Serpent Riders. Her last words before her death from D'Sparil were:
I know you are going to save us all. Baratus, my son, you'll always be my precious sunlight to my heart. I love you.
After these words, she got stabbed in her back by one of Serpent Rider's henchmen. Baratus after death of his parents, has sworn revenge on the evil men and joined the group of Rebellion, which defied the Serpent Riders, hence they were called "Heretics".
