Appearance
It is an amphibious creature of the Leviathan class. On the head there are bioluminescent holes with tentacles, which serve as the main bait for prey. Like earth whales, it is able to filter organisms from the water, as well as to catch small fish, which is helped by the unique structure of the holes and the microtunnels hidden under them.
It has a large body, six legs and a long tail. The head of the creature has several spine-like processes protruding downward. The creature's six muscular limbs end in four-fingered clawed paws. The creature's tail goes into a Thin Line for movement and disguise.
Lifestyle
According to the records of residents of nearby settlements, the creature has been in passive coexistence with them for several hundred years, which may explain its size.
The strong limbs of the creature indicate that it is able to maintain itself on the surface. It is unlikely that he has to hunt on land, most likely only to rest on wide hills and expect self-cleaning from algae and other pesky microorganisms.
The shape-shifter hunts using its natural ability to form microflora on the entire surface of its head.Opening its tentacles and using spores harvested from past feeding periods, it creates a favorable habitat for most species of fish, gradually sucking them through holes in the head, which fish mistake for cozy caves. The shape-shifter needs several days of active feeding, after which its tentacles are tightened, and the plants are stored for later in the form of tiny specimens. After a period of feeding, Leviathan is able to live for about a year, feeding on only microorganisms, occasionally sticking out only the ends of the front tentacles, which are the eyes of the creature, used only to find a more favorable place.
