A couple of weeks ago I got an offer I could not refuse! A local lady put me in touch with someone selling a complete matching victorian Parlour set!!! This furniture set once belonged to Barney and Hallie Eagon, former owners of the Blue Top resturant and Route 66 filling stations in Lamar, Mo. Since my eventual wish is for this house to be something of a living history museam, the furniture set is a fitting remembrance to a couple who ran a very successful local business.

Later in the same week, I found the adorable tea cart.. Can we say tea party in the future? Now I just need a cool fancy Victorian tea set ..

I also need a rug for this room.. but one step at a time!
