Back in December 2020, I started doing character design practice as a way for me to shake out of an art block and to warm up to doing commissions. Eventually my mind went to doing a tactical rpg ala Shining Force, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics etc, with furry characters.

I'd like to try and make it some day, but for the time being, here are the character designs I've been making on the weekends for fun!

I wanted to draw a rat with a goofy expression, and bit by bit, this gremlin slowly came together. The idea of having a thief type character in an rpg is always pretty common, but I loved the idea that they were always lugging around one of the treasure chest hauls
