One of the oldest commissions I have. A simple picture showing Sally and Jack just bein' friends. Sally being a parody of the 'magical girl' trope as well as the 'magical world' trope (which I think is now called isekae, though when this was made that wasn't a widespread term!). Sally isn't a high school girl, she's a college student. She isn't a bubbly, happy naïve girl. She's a punk. Her "powers" weren't granted by some divine being or bloodline, she just studied in a class, and she's quite bad at it due to her inherently lazy personality. She uses Jack as a guinea pig for transformation spells as she herself has a bit of an ego and doesn't like being turned into... Cute things. Combined with bad experiences from her overly affectionate cute-loving friend, Meg, she's more than happy to have someone else to take the brunt of her practice.

Jack is an aspiring writer and meant to fill in as an 'everyman' for these stories. Though his sloppy eating habits and fondness for trying out new experiences has helped him carve out an unique personality in the stories.
