After losing all of his family to Thanos’s snap, Clint Barton became the cold blooded assassin, Ronin, who vengefully fought against crime all over the world.
Thor, plunged in deep guilt and depression, started a life of drinking, eating and slacking, which resulted in him gaining weight.
Bruce Banner finally saw Hulk not as a sickness, but as a cure, then managed to combine brains and brawn and become Professor Hulk!
Tony Stark married Pepper Potts, both had a daughter named Morgan, and went to live in a cabin near a lake in the forest.
Captain America tried to inspire everyone to live on with the world they had been given now, while Black Widow clung to her scarce faith.
Meanwhile, somewhere in China, a swarm of blue, glowing butterflies appeared out of nowhere and began to fly in circles. Then, from between them, came three new wolves. They were Feifei, the little female wolf pup, Alpha, the adult female wolf, and an alternate juvenile version of White Fang. They looked at their surroundings. Everything looked grey and chaotic.
“Briar? Bramble? Vick?” Feifei called her friends.
“Where am I?” Young White Fang said. “Collie? Master Wheedon?”
Alpha just looked around, confused and scared, due to not finding her owner, Keda, anywhere. Since she was a primal wolf, she couldn’t speak.
“It was your destiny to come here.” A voice said. It was a warm, spiritual voice.
Feifei, Young White Fang and Alpha turned to look at where the voice was coming from. It was Aniu talking to them.
“Fear not, young wolves. I want to help you.” She said. “Now, please, listen up. What you see was caused by an evil enemy called Thanos. He wiped out half of the living beings with a snap of his fingers. Feifei, even your friends Briar, Bramble and Vick have been disintegrated.”
“No… that’s not possible!” she said.
“I’m sorry, my child.” Aniu said. “However, there is a way to bring them back. In fact, you can bring back everyone.”
“Really? How?” White Fang asked.
“Thanos didn’t erase half the universe by just snapping his fingers. He needed something special to do so. In this case, the Infinity Stones. There are six: power, space, reality, soul, time and mind. Right now these stones have been destroyed by Thanos. But you can bring them back, too!”
“I don’t get it.” White Fang said. “How can we bring back something that has been destroyed?”
“Soon you will find out. But first, you must gather enough of these magic butterflies.”
Feifei noticed a nearby trash can with lots of empty tin cans.
“I know. Guys, follow me!”
Feifei, Alpha and White Fang began to collect some of the magic butterflies that helped them get there and store them in the tin cans.
“Finished! Now what?” White Fang asked.
“For now, all I can do for you is transport you to where other wolves are. They need your help to retrieve the Infinity Stones. There, you will also meet the Avengers, a team of mighty superheroes who will assist you on your mission.”
Using a magic portal, Aniu transported Feifei, Young White Fang and Alpha to the Avengers Headquarters. At the entrance, they were greeted by Scott Lang, aka Ant Man. He also had something to talk about with the Avengers. So Scott, Feifei, Alpha and Young White Fang called at the entrance, while looking at a camera. Then, they were spotted by Cap and Natasha, who at that moment were accompanied by Grey, Freddy Lupin and the older White Fang from the present. Inside the building, Feifei and Young White Fang talked to the two wolves and the werepoodle about what was going on.
“My name is Feifei. I come from prehistory, and so does my new friend, Alpha, who I meet a few days ago. We arrived here when I found some magic butterflies that had previously allowed my friends, Briar, Bramble and Vick to return to their home in the present. Though I don’t know very well how did White Fang join us.”
Surprised, the older White Fang looked at the younger White Fang.
“Wait, did you say White Fang?” Grey asked.
“This fella right here is also named White Fang.” Freddy said.
“No way!” Young White Fang said. “Does that mean… we are the same wolf?”
The older White Fang couldn’t speak, but due to the expression on his face, the younger White Fang knew what he felt. He was also impressed to see an alternate version of himself.
“Well, as I was saying…” Feifei continued. “I used some magic butterflies to get to the present and visit my friends, but they have been disintegrated, just like half of the living beings in the universe. It seems a bad guy named Thanos did this, with the help of the Infinity Stones, and a snap of his fingers.”
“How did you know?” Freddy asked.
“A strange white wolf told us everything.” Young White Fang said. “She told us to store as many of these butterflies as we could.”
“I was just about to get to that.” Feifei said. “Since these butterflies have time travel ability, and the Infinity Stones have been destroyed, why not use them to travel to the past, find the stones, bring them back to the present, and use them to revive everyone? Yeah… I think that’s what the white wolf meant!”
“Wait… actually, that could work! Maybe we could bring Bianca back.” Grey said.
“And Batty!” Freddy said.
The White Fang from the present thought that maybe they could bring his mother back, too. So he smiled.
“All right, let’s do it!” Freddy said.
“But if we’re gonna do this time heist, we’ll need more wolves.” Grey said.
