Just a bit fun this weekend. There was a Renfest in our area at the little town of Osgoode, just south of Ottawa on the Rideau River. Since the weather was cooperating for a bit of an outdoor excursion and I just so happen to be working on art for a fantasy RPG, it was a good excuse to go and take pictures of everything.

Along with myself,  DCRabbit,  maxblackrabbit, and Paul (  Tashiro 's housemate shown here hefting a claymore) hit the fair and generally had a good time. I met  khelik there who happened to be manning the weapon's booth in question and selling this particular claymore (a modern replica of William Wallice's big-ass sword). In addition to this, there was jousting and a funny picture with Max in the pillory stocks that he might be posting soon.
