Did this one of Grace a few weeks back. I wanted to experement with some more harsh dramatic lighting akin to how Juanjo Guarnido colors the Blacksad comics. He does his with I believe watercolor, but I tried to create my own version with markers. I have to say, this might be one of my favorite pieces of Grace yet. This was a piece where everything fell into place better than I expected. It went so well, I took the piece out of my sketchbook, framed it, and put it on my wall.
Looking forward to pushing my colorwork even more in future pieces.
