And the final part of the small little story thing I wrote a fair while back, if anyone even remembers, that started out with Under the stars and continued in The first kiss, intended to be the start of their relationship, when they finally realized they liked each other, and stopped pretending and acting like they didn't, neither wanting to seem weak or be the one to "give in" first, pair of angsty babies is what they are haha. The third part of the story, listed below, is much shorter than the prior two, no need to thank me, because it was actually initially part of the second one, but I felt it would be worth it to split it apart, to allow a closing image, so to speak, for the two of the events.
And before you ask "wait, is that just an elaborate excuse for more cute drawings of the two?" I'll have you know I'd never do that, how dare you even consider it. It just so happens to be the end result, what a funny coincidence!

RIGHT, on to the actual piece now, instead of my nonsense, sorry!
I just want to say I absolutely LOVE the background/scenery in this, they really kicked it out of the park. The water and the stars reflecting in the water just looks absolutely gorgeous and I can't get enough of it, it's straight out of a movie and it just looks absolutely amazing. WrappedVi did an absolutely wonderful job on all three images in this small "series", if you aren't already watching them, seriously, get out of here and go watch them. They do breathtaking art <3

And Meru the poor baby, just looks so peaceful and content, and if it wasn't because Phyress would bite my hand for trying, I'd totally pet him. Actually, in hindsight, he'd probably also bite me. Still worth it though, he's so precious, even if he is an angsty noodle <:

As their kiss concluded, they continued to stare into each others eyes for a while longer, expressing their feelings without saying anything. It didn't take long before Meru leaned up against her, nuzzling her and making himself comfortable against her warm coat, neither of them wanting to put up an act anymore, but rather just enjoy each others company for the rest of the night.
As he was settling in, gently curling his tail around her, she gently kissed his forehead before resting her head against his and looking back up at the stars, not minding staying like this for hours, his company all she needed, the night now perfect as it was.
