Character designs for the other two members of Marbas and Georgie's friend group! Had to pick out their designs and colors because I've been working on storyboarding another comic in my free time that includes these two.
Danny is a childhood friend of Georgie's. They've known each other since elementary school, and have a very casual but close relationship. Danny met Marbas during summer school in a middle school remedial math class, and was the reason why Mara and Georgie met!! He's the main singer and bass player of Deathcult Trainwreck. He's been a character of mine for two years but this is the first time I've ever drawn him in color! Crazy
Workshop met the gang freshman year of high school. They're fairly withdrawn, very self conscious about their height and thin figure. In response to this they wear very baggy clothing and slouch consistently. They're very tech savvy and act as the sound mixer/digital percussionist for the band. Workshop collaborates with Georgie to help write the band's songs. They can also play piano, but they usually just use this skill to help write music rather than play.
Danny and Workshop moved in together after high school; Danny was living independently for a good portion of senior year after being kicked out by his mother, and was struggling to pay for his rent with his minimum wage job. Workshop was looking to move out anyways and ended up rooming with Danny. Somehow they work very well together, and have become somewhat codependent over the years.
