I meaaan, I dont remember the exact theory but linearts help force art to be in ecluidian shapes which would hamper slight exaggerations, making linearted pieces feel awkward if they differed from their anatomy too much
being lineartless allows you to bring less attention or make seem smoother these areas, while anatomy still applies in the shapes of the bodies it is alot looser and synergizes with color energy
