I have in my life encountered many dangerous beast, some i slain and some i was forced to retreat from, but never have i heard of a small creature turning into unusual size. The retcher is a small worm , none grow past the size of your hand, to have a giant one taller than trees in length is a thing to be concerned about.



While my skepticism was high, i decided before hunting the beast to study one in the wild, I poked it cruelly with my knife around its body to see where it lead to serious damage. The whole time it was emitting these gross vomiting noises, puking his guts out trying to devour my blade. A retcher is able to vomit its stomach outside, trap their prey in its sticky substance before pulling them back inside.




When i delivered the coup de grace , its head shook violently before spilling its innards, one last strike to trap a predator forcing them to starve to death. This is definitely something to look out especially if this worm is indeed mutated with gigantism.



When i tracked the worm down, i was speechless such a thing existed, thankfully my studies came to fruition as i was aware of it's attack pattern. Its skin was fragile , my blade easily pierced it and sliced the worm apart. When his head began to shake violently, I knew not what to do, Their guts can spill rather far away, my best bet was to quickly climb up a tree.




The grotesque worm emptied his organs, spreading all across the field surrounding it . Some of it began to climb the tree as i was praying it would stop leaking out. The Retched was immobile, while the sense of relief overwhelmed me, I carefully climb away from its guts . I could not reach its head as a trophy to show the villagers writing the notice, if they do not believe me then.... i will bring them to it, its not like any predator could pull it away without being trapped anyway.
