It's not bad, though I have a recommendation that might make it look a lot better. Try turning down the resolution of the background or otherwise filtering it just a bit to make it look more similar to the foreground illustration.
Also, this trend of putting the signature prominently on the piece, I suppose to prevent theft, seriously detracts from the work. Honestly, I won't purchase a piece that has the signature prominently displayed like this. I know that there are a lot of really pathetic people out there willing to steal; but degrading your art to prevent children from doing what they are going to do anyway isn't a good solution. This especially holds true for a realism piece.
If you want to incorporate the signature to protect your work without detracting from the intrinsic value; try doing the tricks many professional artists use such as placing your name/signature on an object; like Kep shoes, or microprinting your signature as part of the pattern in the couch. It makes the signature less visible (and thus harder to find to get rid of) and still protects the piece.
Keep up the good work.

I keep my username like that because I know my work isn't high enough quality to frame or print. It's most often distributed online through image boards and masturbators, so I unfortunately do it so my name is as visible as possible. Not due to art theft, but for redirection.. as half the comments usually are, "source?"
I don't sign my stuff like this on the pieces I sell IRL - but this is furry art. I'm not going to risk redistribution without credit being given due - and anonymous posters never do.
