lemme guess, vector homework for graphic design class and you have no other choice but to use the pen tool? I hated doing that assignment back in college. lol! Wish I brought my tablet to class while I did it. ^^; still, looking good so far. :3

ToT yeah thats it... well we can use other tools... but the pen tool is the only think i really have a handle of

hmmm.... well, if you are able to use your tablet in that class you could cut corners and use the pencil tool to draw out the selection and use the pen tool to correct the nodes if needed. Not to mention that it could have a more natural look if done right.
