As a practitioner of iaijutsu, I don't need a gun to protect myself like other people do, just a good sword. I'm just as deadly with one as a soldier is with a rifle. But just as a soldier needs a good gun, so do I need a good blade
And this is that blade. A custom ninjato - basically a katana with a straight blade - made of super sturdy 9260 spring steel and sharpened to a beyond-razor edge. It's hard to see in this photo due to poor quality, but it does have an engraving too, near the guard: Doragon Kuro, or in English, Dragon Claw.

Interestingly, "Dragon" has multiple translations among Japanese-speakers. "Doragon" is most commonly used for Western dragons due to it being a direct transliteration into the Katakana writing system, while "Ryu" is used more broadly for any kind of dragon since it comes directly from the Kanji script. And then there's "Tatsu," which is the Old Japanese word for "Dragon." Perhaps it was just coincidence, but "Doragon" is the most specific translation in Japanese (being related mostly to European-style dragons), and also matches you the best!
