A sequel to "An Air-Soft Landing"


Penelope, after fallen onto Ben's balloon, carefully slide off and landed on Ben's. When she saw whose arms she fell on, she smiled warmly. Ben was completely lost with words. He's been with her before, but never in his life would he actually rescue her for the very first time.


From his peers, he could hear her purring. "That was quite heroic of you," She purred, wrapping her arms around him. IN a flash, his furry face went from orange to rosy pink. "I didn't know you were up there..." He started, feeling sweat running down. Before he knew it, she kissed him on the right side of his face, leaving a red kiss mark. His face flushed to pure red while hearts fizzle around like bubbles from an opened can of soda. "Thanks for saving me, handsome..." She purred again.


Ben wishes he knew what to say next. However, from that kiss Penelope gave him, he was in a lovey-dovey state. The cat didn't care. She was happy that someone like him saved her 9 lives. ((He does look awfully familiar...)) Penelope thought to herself. ((I've seen that outfit and fedora before, but where...?))


Wait 'til she finds out that Ben Dixen is now a tabby instead of a dog.
