Having come back from her break, Kiki went to visit Ricky to catch up on things. Upon entering his home, the caracal found her sheepish friend lying face...sideways on the floor looking a bit disconnected, but not in a physical way like usually.
-Kiki: Heya sheepums! Word around the street is things have been pretty quiet around here as of late, what's that all about?
-Ricky: Mmmmm. . .
-K: You want to sit on the couch and talk things out?
-R: . . .I think I'll pass for now.
-K: I was hoping you'd say that, cause I've been wanting an excuse to try this with someone.
-R: Try wh-
Before the ram could bleat another word, the caracal grabbed onto his hind legs and gave them a quick yank, pulling him in half. The ram let out a sharp 'baa' in response, to which his cat friend giggled at. Kiki then sat next the chopped ram's lower half and started to push her paws down on her own. With a bit of force the caracal detached her legs and shuffled them in front of Ricky's. Once in position, she pulled her tush over towards the fluffier one and connected them at the waistline. Kiki proceeded to crawl over to the mixed appendages and patted her hips as she beckoned her woolly friend.
-K: Come here mate, they won't kick promise. ;3
Ricky sighed to himself and did as his friend requested. He snuggled up to the long pair of feline legs and rested his small torso between its thighs. The two relaxed on each other and stared up at the ceiling.
-K: So, what's been unravelling that woolly head of yours?
-R: . . .Do you think...that we'd be in this scenario, not in pieces, but as friends if I wasn't modular.
-K: Ricky, do you remember what happened before you swapped our heads last year?
-R: How could I forget; I was just sitting away from the others thinking to myself when you pounced on me out of nowhere.
-K: Right, cause I was already interested in popping that social bubble of yours well before I knew you could give me a new and amazing perspective on life.
-R: Well, modularity isn't that special of a "talent".
-K: Modular or not, you've helped me to see a world I've never thought I'd be so invested in.
-R: I mean...
-K: Think of the all interesting friends you have introduced me to like those sisters at the bunny circus, all those mythical creatures like taurs, or that cute otter kid you liked to swap with. I love being a part of this weird group you've shown me. I, Monica, and I'm certain some of your other mates really appreciate you and the things you've done recently, and I hope you know that.
-R: Yeah, I guess you do. Thanks, Keeks.
-K: No problem sheepums! And excuse me if this sounds even too weird for your standards, but do you think I can borrow 'you' every now and again? I'm not if I can go back to normal pillows after today.
-R: Hmm depends, would you let me borrow any of 'you' in from time to time?
-K: *snort* As if you even have to ask. I'll take almost any excuse to 'let loose' with you and your friends. Speaking of which, I might have a few more techniques to try out on them if you're interested. . .? :3c
Hello there, it's been a while since last I've posted but I really wanted to have this image out today as it marks the 1 year anniversary of me putting out art in general. As for why I took an absence in the first place, it's because I haven't been doing well over the past several months and it hasn't got any better. This past year has been simultaneously one of the best and worst years of my life mostly because of the those I've interacted with over the course of it. I've met some really nice people and some really terrible ones as well. And not the kind who harass/ are mean me directly mind you, 'cause funnily enough that's never bothered me for some reason, no I more so mean those who hurt others...casually I guess you could say? But for today I'd rather talk about the former:
Whether you shared a casual conversation, helped develop characters, inspired me to take on a specific subject, like my work enough to request/commission me, be a decent friend, or just throw some interest my way I'm very grateful for meeting those of you that make dealing with some of the nonsense I've faced worth worthwhile. Apologies for the length of the post, but I just really wanted to say thank you very much.
