Eventually, he spotted a perfect one during his flight: An underwater aquifer opening to a river, accessible both inside and outside a cave through various openings.
Magma vents from below kept portions heated, making it a thriving place for all sorts of different feesh. He made sure to capture sockeye salmon and relocate them here, ensuring he had a steady supply of tasty sushi whenever he desired.
He appraised his new home with a somewhat solemn acceptance. He didn’t particularly like change. But sometimes you have no choice but to move on in physicality, hoping the environs ease the burdens of your past.
