We still use these in San Francisco on Market street and by the Wharf with a fleet of 28.
Though these aren't the original from back then and was bought from the east coast.

YES!!!! PCC mine mine * runs to it and cudles it* nice shot nicely done man. PCC for ever!!!

i remember muni in san francisco in the 50s when the pcc's were still the "newer" trolleys, and there were a handful of even older, wooden door cars, still in service.

its been more then five years since i've been down there, but i think they've still got some (restored) pcc's running on the f line, or somewhere. i remember riding them all the time on the n, and l, lines in the 50s, 60s and 70s, the many times i went down there then.

TTC still has a PCC that they bought from Birmingham Trainsit, done up in BTC colors.

And I notice the squirrelcage blowers off to the left; those things are a pain to clean! xD
