After leaving the walled sanctuary of Paragon City, Avner and Shazza are on their own in the EREHWON lands. Not having to conform to the 1930s-1950s culture anymore by simply not caring, Avner readopts his modified flight suit, wears his earrings again, and starts growing his ducktail hairstyle again. He's also not as concerned as keeping his smartphone a secret anymore. He is a man that doesn't belong in this regressed future. Here Avner invites Shazza to have a look at what could be future technology in this world. What he doesn't expect is for her to take a seat between his legs like this. He shows her the photos on his phone. They're crisp, clean, and IN COLOR. Something very foreign to Shazza and she's enamored with the tech, and her crush on Avner is deepened. Avner shows her pictures of Vella, his then fiancée-to-be. It's at this moment that Shazza wants to be like Vella. Such a woman who's strong and beautiful. After this moment, Shazza starts to adopt her modern look. She starts growing her hair a little longer, changes her hairstyle, starts working out to gain muscle. This moment is the start where their relationship starts turning from friends to lovers.

This is the first time I've drawn Shazza how she looks before wearing her modern top and tight jeans. She's so skinny, but I love this look for her even with the 1950's dress and hairstyle.
