He was so stunned by Akela’s transition to wolf form that he forgot about asking to be bitten. He is sort of in shock about what he just saw. ^^;

If I was to rewrite it again, I would change the words slightly.

It's cool. I just understand Akela's confusion because the reaction is not what I'd have expected either. I guess no one ever expects it to be a real wolfwere.
