Me sharaye and annikacat got to spend a day at the Zoo!
One more view of our White Bengal... I moved to a different angle in this picture and the Tiggy saw me and looked right at me. Very pretty Tiggy... But I don't know how much I'd want to offer it snuggles and I'm not sure I'd survive the attempt. They're amazing animals. Just poetic in their shape and build. I look on in wonder but also feel sad cause you see these animals in the zoo and they seam to be like they're depressed or bored. I know the cage he was in was really big but it's not like the miles of territory they'd have in the wild.... But then again they don't have to worry about poachers and hunters in the zoo... If only we knew what words or thoughts lived behind those expressive eyes. Maybe one day we will.

I kind of see that with all the big cats... They're kind of like "SIGH"...... Kind of this non verbal vibe of why am I here. Wish all these people staring at me would be quiet. I saw at one zoo I was at a kid and his parents and the kid was freaking out waving his arms and yelling at the cat. You could see the cat turn it's head and ears and sigh out what looked like a frustrated puff of air. I try to stay quiet. I'm sure they've already heard all the creative noises people can make to try and get their attention. Some times when I'm quiet they'll look right at me and I wonder then what they're thinking.
