Took me a while to get to it (I am a slow dwaggie) but here it is, the gift pic for my first 700th watcher. I say first since my watch list goes up and down a lot. In fact, I hit that 700 mark at least 10 times since 
Neyaraxis got the first one.
This is a very tame pic but I probably lose a few (and gain a couple) watchers anyway. Seems it happens no matter what I post though much more pronounce with my sometimesl gory stuff.
At any rate, I like how this one turned out though there is something missing that I can't quite put a claw on it. Overall I do believe I caught the dragonwolf's essence. *holds up the glass jar with a bluish glow coming from the inside with the occasional sparkles.* Pretty colors... I mean I am happy with it.
I used these two submission as refs, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3984093/ and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3922777/ . Did it in my own style of course. I was thinking of using a background with the cliche lightning bolts and somesuch but someone on IRC suggested (in jest I'm sure) to go with a rainbow so I ran with that. I did my usual clouds but the ground out back kinda sucks.
I didn't post any previews like last time. I didn't get much feedback so I figured to skip it. The rainbow idea from IRC is the only think I really got as far as suggestions. If there is any interests, I might post reviews again but I feel there are such a waste of time.
Oh well, congrats to Neyaraxis. At the rate I am going, it'll take like a year to hit 800, where I plan to do another celebratory drawing along when (and if) I hit 20k pageviews, somewhere in the next century or so.
So, what do you all think? Anything? Nothing? Oh well.

Yeah, i do have my soft side that shows up every once in a while. But such works are not so popular as my 'uncanny valley' stuff generates much more views. I'll be lucky to get a tenth of the views on this compared to my extreme works. However, percentage wise, I get tons more favs with my tame stuff. I guess people are less afraid to show this kind of subject on their homepages.
I'll really be surprised to get 100 views on this drawing though I am almost halfway there, so who knows. I am pleased with the amount of comments I am getting so far. Always nice to get some and I appreciate even one I manage to get.
BTW, I really like who the eyes came out. I had a hard time getting the left iris to look right but I think I well on it in the end. And I believed I nailed the expression too.

I know all about things going out of control... and getting worse. What a crazy time I am having. I did manage to do this drawing spread over three days from sketch to the final shading, super fast for my usual slow speed.
