So, I finally did it. I finally designed an outfit for Yume. It only took... what... forever??? I am never happy with the work for my characters, so that's why it took so long to get this one out. I feel like nothing is good enough for my babies. xDD So, I drew this ages ago and never posted it or showed it. I think today is the day I'm going to share it with everyone! I wanted to keep to the blue theme that I have had with her since the beginning, so that's why there's so much blue, white, and silver! I went for a blue dress with the bottom part fading into a lighter shade of blue and a more dark shade of blue on the accent pieces for that popping effect. I did a lot of embroidery on her dress since she is royalty, she would have very intricate patterning on her clothing. I also added in some gem accessories onto the dress since she would also be adorned in jewels, showing her status as well. I also did some playful ruffles on the top part since she is smaller in stature (like myself) and it adds more volume to the top to go with the lacing of the corset and so it works well with the bottom. I wanted to pull it all together with a necklace that I made for her (which has significance in her story) and some sheer and glittery fabric laying on top of the gown. All in all, I'm super proud of this gorgeous piece, it's absolutely a beauty and I can't be happier with designing it. I struggle to design for my own OC's often, so finally sitting down and making something I'm proud of means the world to me. What do you guys think of Yume's dress I made for her?

I really love that blue princess dress, the skirt length, the laced bodice, the sparkly fabric on the waistline, even the trim. Blue is also favorite color because it has a sense of royalty and elegance to it. I really like wearing ballroom dresses and dresses with a long skirt. <3 <3 <3
