The Morrigan, also known as the Phantom Queen, or Great Queen. Certainly an intimidate Goddess for sure from my perspective, despite her captivating beauty.

She is pretty mysterious, so I couldn't get too much info on her in the short time I looked into learning about this Goddess.
From what I learned so far in my brief study of her, is that The Morrigan is a Goddess spoken of in Celtic and Irish culture as the Goddess of War, more specifically of the inevitable fate of those that engage in it's conflicts: Death. She is a master of fate and destiny, able to weave and manipulate it at will, and sightings of her or her carrion birds -the crow and the raven- is a sign someones death. Be it the death of the viewer, or their enemy on the battlefield, only the Phantom Queen knows.

Though associated with war, I've also heard that she is a protective goddess of her people, holding sway over their land, livestock and fertility.
