Isaacthehusker is really growing into the adventuring life. He and Peameal arrived in this quaint little town during a harvest festival and Isaac just HAD to stop at a baked goods stall. Peameal went off to meet their contact at the local tavern for their next job.
A few hours (and meals) later, Peameal came back to find Isaac still sampling. The gator-derg shot a nervous look at the oddly approving crowd that had formed around the husky and gently shook his friend's plush arm, "We got a job. We gotta go, buddy."
I'll never let myself end up like this, Peameal thought. A small part of the gator-derg was starting to suspect his own frame had a little more jiggle to it than it used to, but a bigger part didn't care, was ravenous and wanted dinner ...
