Very creepy indeed! The park is 'closed at last light' so technically I was not supposed to be there. I think the emptiness adds to the feel.

Hehe, indeed. There was a playground I went to in Florida when I was little. There was an odd tree there that had these long, thin, spidery growths on it and at night it looked a lot like it was just full of icky spiders. >.<
