Had this repair job come across my workbench recently.
This one is a balaclava based head with the liner coming loose, also needing eye rework and a request for "Hair like my InuYasha fursuit".
After making the interior repairs, I re-set the eyes flush with the face, added new black and grey eyeliner.
The new hair is blue sparkle fur and extra long black palomino fur sewn together. The hair piece is extra long in the back with a pouch for the clients ponytail to hide in.

It was nice to go back to my roots of doing fursuit repair, but with the knowledge gained from the new suits I have made.
