It's a graphic way of telling folks, walking down the hall or looking for your room, who's staying inside. It used to be more prevalent until Hotels cracked down on it as the tape was damaging the hotel room doors. Now furs tend to use door knob hangers for the same purpose.
D: Aw, but they look so happy!
You know what it is that made me think that? It's the little swoopy line you drew at the corner of their mouths which implies a cheek. You didn't draw it on Edan, and that character has a different feel from the rest.
We should totally hang out and art jam sometime! :D

The Westin hotels had a pet friendly policy where they allowed pets in certain rooms for an additional fee.
We understand that the Hyatte, MWFF's current hotel, also is a pet friendly hotel.
You can check with the hotel itself to get more information on whether hotels you frequent for conventions and personal vacations are pet friendly, or check http://www.pet-friendly-hotels.net/
Aside from the additional charge some hotels charge, they also have policies that you have to take your pets out of the room while housekeeping is doing their job. While not a huge problem, it can be one if they take a long time cleaning your room.
Hope that helped answer your question!
