you know, every deck of cards has that one card that has instructions on how to play a card game on one side and the other side of the card has like, a little order form you can mail off for more playing cards. It hangs out with the jokers when you get it new. I'd really like to be on that one.
Definitely a unique and different idea for playing cards, wouldn't mind using that kind of deck for games, or even tarot cards! As for any suggestions the only idea that comes to mind, if you're making this a whole deck, is to make each different suit, a different species.
Exe: spades = dragons, diamonds = cats, hearts = dogs, and clubs = foxes.
Of course that's only an idea/suggestion that I'm throwing out here for possible consideration.

I see well like I said, it was only an idea but I see what you mean by commissions and even then, when you make a full collection, you could even create it into your own kind of deck to sell, that is of course if all of your commissioners gave you permission to use their characters as such.
are the first card and will have to say that looks great and you can really see the great detail in your character, i only just saw your have rainbow eyes and they look lovely.

Now for the icons ideas... this is something i thought quickly.. and probably they are bad ideas.. but i'll let you judge that.. btw.. sorry if some ideas seem a bit smutty >.<
Clubs = instead of the typical clover type icon.. what about a 3 tailed fox thingy.. with the crown at the center.
Spades = Hmm if its a female.. i can imagine the Spades symbol to be drawned within the bossoms and cleavege. maybe ? for a male.. hehe.. well.. that's a bit more easy to imagine in certain part having two rounded things and a pointy tip at the top :P hehe.
Diamonds = well.. this one beats me >.< regular diamonds like in a the actual stone icons?? >.<;; (i fail on this one)
Hearts = Well you got this covered already ^^
As fot the King and Queen.. well.. just use the regular crown designs.. pointy spikes and the rounded cloth with metal crossing lines.

Something I've noticed with a lot of your art is that when you upload it.. The quality isn't the best.
I don't know if you are just saving it as a low resolution jpg or something. Another thing that may cause this issue. Is that if you upload a picture bigger then 1280 by 1280 it squishes it down and causes it to pixelize and have distortion in the picture. (Like this one)

That's the problem then. I would suggest then sizing anything to the max of 1280px by 1280px (largest side being 1280). Anything bigger is going to give it all the distortion and pixelating that you're dealing with atm.
I usually only save the final jpg. as the 1280px so I can keep the original 3000px by 3000px picture in the PSD and whatever.
Might as well save it down so you don't have your pictures looking bad. Because once you 1280 everything will be as crisp as the work you see in the original PSD.
